The short version

I collect as little as I can, I don’t sell your data, and you can ask me to delete it anytime.

What I collect

When you visit the site: Google Analytics records anonymous usage data, such as which pages you view, roughly where you’re visiting from, your device and browser, and how you found the site. It uses cookies to do this.

When you buy: checkout is run by a third-party payment provider. They collect your payment details and handle taxes and receipts. I never see or store your card number. I receive your name, email address, country and order details so I can deliver the product, send updates and handle refunds.

When you email me: I keep your message and email address so I can reply.

How I use it

To deliver what you bought, send product updates you’re entitled to, answer questions, process refunds and understand which parts of the site are working. I may email buyers about updates to Visual Leverage. I won’t add you to a marketing newsletter without your OK, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Who I share it with

Only the services needed to run the business: the payment provider that processes your order, Google Analytics for site stats, and Netlify, which hosts this site. I don’t sell or rent your personal information.

Cookies

The site uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits. You can block them in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The payment provider may set its own cookies during checkout.

How long I keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for tax and accounting rules. Emails are kept as long as they’re useful for support. Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics’ retention settings.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop receiving emails. Email me and I’ll handle it within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have more rights under local law, and I’ll honor them.

Children

Visual Leverage isn’t meant for children under 16, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top of this page.
